We are looking for a dynamic team of volunteers to fill various exciting roles here at WHIWH CHC. Volunteers are incredibly valuable members of our team, and our volunteer program allows volunteers to grow with our agency and to give back to the community in a way that supports personal growth and development.
Becoming a Volunteer:
1. Complete an application: the application can be completed in person at WHIWH, emailed, or faxed in to our Volunteer Engagement Coordinator. The application gives us an opportunity to learn more about your experience as well as your availability.
2. Interview (phone or in-person): the interview will be a great opportunity to discuss your application. During the interview applicants will be matched to the best possible volunteer role based on experience and availability.
3. Attend an orientation: applicants who are selected will be invited to attend an orientation session about WHIWH and the volunteer program.
4. Training: training will be role specific, and will clearly outline duties and expectations of the volunteer positions. All materials relevant to the position will be distributed at this time. Continued support and follow up will be offered through the Volunteer Engagement Coordinator.
